Adding a Guidebook to you listing

I find that booking a holiday is almost as exciting as the holiday itself!
Once the accommodation is locked in, the real planning begins—where to get the best local coffee, where to eat dinner with a view, what hidden gems are nearby. That’s where a great Airbnb host steps in. When you provide handpicked local recommendations before your guests even arrive, it not only saves them time—it builds anticipation and trust. It’s the kind of thoughtful touch that turns a good stay into an unforgettable one.
As soon as my guests make a booking, I make sure to attach my Guidebook - this isn't a fancy printed version that so many hosts recommend (these are great btw - but many of the hosts that I help are "Room" hosts and feel it might be a bit OTT - I totally agree, that's why Airbnb's Guidebook feature is so amazing - Plus the information that you are supplying in your guidebook is constantly evolving.
I am ALWAYS adding to my Guidebook. If a new local cafe or restaurant or cafe opens, then it's just a matter of adding it in your Listings editor in Airbnb - it's so easy to update.
Airbnb even auto-attaches images of most places (but you can add your own images as well).
If you manage your Airbnb or short stay accommodation remotely, you can update it regularly.
Traditional printed guestbooks are still appreciated in-stay, but Airbnb’s built-in Guidebook offers:
Instant access before (and during) visits, offline-savvy guests find it especially useful.
Guests love to pre-book restaurants/attractions prior to their stay, and this allows them to do so.
Easy tweaks and updates—no reprinting required.
Shareability and availability across listings under one host.
Should you decide that you like to have a printed copy then it's easy - Airbnb allows “Preview & print” for physical copies, and the Guidebook is public—you can also share externally.
A Guidebook is definitely not to be compared to a "House Manual" - a house manual details all things to do with your Airbnb - Check-In/out times, WIFI codes, garbage information etc. and every Airbnb should have this information readily available for their guests, if possible, in the online House Manual feature on Airbnb as well as a hard-copy on site.
